Today, Elon Musk himself triumphantly announced on X that all core systems are now using the X.com domain.
X.com is an amazing domain name, one of 26 single-letter ones in English, better suited for Musk's vision of making Twitter an 'everything app' similar to WeChat.
There's a good generic yet memorable brand, a unique domain, and high ambitions. If not Musk-associated, the rebranding would be hyped, yet the internet overwhelmingly hates it.
