The band officially came together while studying at SUNY Purchase in 2018. Lip Critic's harsher sound clashed with their indie rock-oriented cohorts. Their ethos resembles Death Grips in raw, uninhibited performances, and interests align with fellow Brooklynites Model/Actriz.
