Sufjan Stevens announce Seven Swans reissue for 20th anniversary

Asthmatic Kitty Records and Sufjan Stevens will release a deluxe reissue of his fourth album, Seven Swans, on June 21st to mark its 20th anniversary. It will come in various physical formats like zoetrope picture disc edition, silver, and split-colored vinyl. The album's B-sides will also be available for the first time on flexi-disc and digitally, including tracks 'I Went Dancing With My Sister' and 'Waste of What Your Kids Won't Have.' Pre-orders are currently open for the reissue.
The Broadway adaptation of Sufjan Stevens' 2005 album, Illinois, is running at the St. James Theatre and has received four Tony Awards nominations for Best Musical, Best Choreography, Best Orchestrations, and Best Lighting Design. Those interested can purchase tickets for the show. Additionally, a cast recording of the musical will be released by Nonesuch Records on May 31st.
