The Best Dishes Eater Editors Ate This Week
Briefly

Who knew we needed another Roberta's Pizza? Last month, the Brooklyn-born pizza chain opened R Slice, a slice shop next to its original location in Bushwick... toppings were fantastic: tart tomato sauce, molten mozzarella, a dusting of Parmesan, and a couple of basil leaves.
Southern-meets-Asian strikes again at Lola's, Suzanne Cupps's new restaurant in the Nomad area... crispy chicken thighs coated in a thick, crunchy batter and served with fermented hot honey and coconut vinegar.
The toasted cheese sandwich is a solipsistic thing, with the person ordering having little intention of sharing because it's so good. But what if it were turned into a communal dish, like a pizza? Well, that is exactly what newly opened Montague Diner has done... one so big that three or four can share it, with garlicky pickle spears and a humongous sharp knife.
