Many of the 13 members appointed to the Charter Revision Commission by Mayor Eric Adams have ties to his inner circle, including campaign donors, lobbyists, and longtime allies.
The commission was established as a response to the City Council's move to increase scrutiny on mayoral appointments through advice and consent.
