Scientists have identified the largest blue hole in the world, Taam Ja', reaching at least 1,380 feet below sea level in Chetumal Bay off Mexico's coast.
The experts in Chetumal, Mexico used a CTD profiler to accurately measure Taam Ja's depth, surpassing the previous estimate by nearly 400 feet.
