Harris, an undersized former undrafted free agent from D-II Oklahoma Baptist, showed promise in college with productive seasons and a kick returner background.
Despite his size and speed limitations, Harris impressed during the preseason with the Atlanta Falcons and recently participated in the Steelers' rookie minicamp.
After being waived/injured by the Steelers, Harris is expected to land on the team's injured reserve list following the necessary waivers process.
