Monroe in North Beach hosts a weekly “Battle of the Decades” DJ party and happy hour every Friday. A live DJ plays progressive tunes across two rooms and an outdoor patio. Each hour features a different decade with drink prices matching the theme. During the 5–6 pm hour, $1 drinks are offered with ’60s music. From 6–7 pm, drinks cost $2 with ’70s music, followed by $3 for ’80s music, $4 for ’90s music, $5 for ’00s music, and $6 premium cocktails for ’10s music. From 11 pm to 2 am, current hits play.
