"Autopsy reports have revealed the cause of death for the four family members who were found in a San Francisco home last month. The autospy reports, provided to SFGATE by the San Francisco Chief Medical Examiner's Office, show that 57-year-old Thomas Ocheltree and his two daughters, who were 9 and 12 years old, were all shot to death on Oct. 8. The mother, 53-year-old Paula Truong, died by suicide on the same day, the reports show."
"The deaths of the father and the two daughters were all ruled homicides, while Truong's death was ruled a suicide. Ocheltree and his daughters were found in their respective beds with gunshot wounds to the chest, the medical examiner stated. Ocheltree was also found with a pistol "loosely gripped" in his right hand. Truong, who did not have gunshot wounds, was found dead in the garage and gunshot residue was also collected from her body as evidence, the reports stated."
"The San Francisco Police Department did not respond to SFGATE's request for additional information. According to city records, the home where the family was found entered the foreclosure process last year. The family also had several businesses, some of which have ceased, and Truong had accumulated a significant amount of debt in recent years. SFPD previously said it believes the deaths were isolated and that there isn't a public safety threat."
