"SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Authorities on Sunday are investigating after a man and dog were shot in San Francisco. San Francisco police closed off the area around 4th and Market Streets near San Francisco Center. The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. The man was taken to the hospital. Two other people, including a police officer, had minor injuries. It's unknown from what injuries. But they declined to be taken to the hospital. No word on what led to the shooting."

Authorities responded to a shooting near 4th and Market Streets, adjacent to San Francisco Center, at approximately 4:30 p.m. A man and a dog were shot at the scene. The man was transported to a hospital for treatment. Two other individuals, one of whom was a police officer, sustained minor injuries and declined hospital transport. Police closed off the area around 4th and Market Streets during the response. The circumstances and motive behind the shooting are currently unknown.
