211 member nations voted during the 74th FIFA Congress to decide between Brazil and a joint bid from Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands as hosts for the 2027 Women's World Cup.
Brazil was confirmed as the front-runner based on FIFA's evaluation report, having previously hosted the men's tournament in 1950 and 2014, with this being their first time hosting a Women's World Cup.
