Sales of raw cow's milk have increased by 21-65% since the bird flu virus was confirmed in U.S. cattle, despite warnings from FDA and CDC about its risks.
Viral remnants of the bird flu virus have been found in raw milk sold in grocery stores, although pasteurization kills the virus, but live virus transmission risk is unknown.
