The trek is split into two legs, with the first kicking off February 19th in Dallas and running through March 14th in Niagara Falls, Ontario. After about a month-long break, Shepherd will return to the road on April 10th in Miramar Beach, Florida, and remain on tour through May 9th in St. Louis. The itinerary notably includes two back-to-back Florida gigs with support from Eric Johnson (April 14th in Ft. Lauderdale, and April 15th in Jacksonville).
A native of Monkton, Maryland, Dennis Jones got his musical start on drums, but by age 13 he had switched to guitar and joined a band. After traveling the world, he landed in Los Angeles, joining Mississippi bluesman Zac Harmon's band, with whom he won the 2004 International Blues Challenge. Jones' solo debut, Falling Up, came in 2003. Subsequent albums showcased his artistry and featured guests including Kenny Neal, Guitar Shorty, and Etta James saxophonist Jimmy Zavala.
Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Jill Dineen, the Carmen Ratti Band has garnered attention by winning the 2023 Golden Gate Blues Society's International Blues Challenge, establishing themselves as a top contender in the blues scene.
