YouTube is implementing labels to flag content that contains AI, aiming to give users more transparency on the trustworthiness of the content they view.
Creators on YouTube will be required to disclose if they used AI to alter their content, and users can request the removal of videos featuring AI or altered content with an identifiable individual.
Other social media platforms like Meta (formerly Facebook) and TikTok have also introduced AI use disclosures and labels on their platforms. [ more ]
