Game 1 comes to Toronto on Friday and home game tickets quickly sold out Wednesday, with resale tickets being priced at many thousands of dollars. Ford says that in his opinion, Ticketmaster is "gouging" people.

Orders by residents outside New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania will be canceled without notice and refunds given."

Between November 1, 2022, and December 30, 2023, a group of three individuals allegedly used a network of websites to purchase over 379,776 tickets from Ticketmaster, spending $57 million. They resold those tickets for nearly $64 million.

You were right to try to resolve the issue on your own and document your communications with the company. You paid a premium price for your tickets, so a refund for the inconvenience you experienced would have been completely justified.
