Police arrested 37-year-old Clarence Turhan Simpson III and a 15-year-old boy for attempting to burglarize a business at Corte Madera mall. Early Friday morning, officers found a running sedan in a fire lane and spotted the masked suspects nearby. One suspect fled but was detained along with the other. Surveillance footage linked them to the attempted break-in. Both were found in a stolen vehicle containing loaded handguns. Simpson was booked with a $25,000 bail and charged with multiple offenses. The juvenile was booked on similar charges and taken to Juvenile Hall.
