Along with numerous unions backing IF Metall's strikes against Tesla, Sweden's largest private trade union, Unionen, has initiated a blockade against the company for workers at DEKRA Industrial AB.
The goal of the strikes is to urge Tesla to sign a collective bargaining agreement, although the company and Elon Musk have traditionally been opposed to unions.
Actions taken by IF Metall and other supporting unions include blocking inspections on Tesla vehicles, hindering license plate issuance, and impeding Supercharger connections.
Despite Tesla-certified repair shops regaining the ability to work on Tesla vehicles, strikes persist as IF Metall leader asserts the labor issues are far from resolved.
