In Lynwood, a burglary suspect was shot and killed, seemingly by an accomplice, when they were surprised by a resident. The incident occurred early Thursday morning when about five men, dressed in dark clothing, entered a home. Following their surprise by the resident, the suspects fled, but during the chaos, one of them discharged a firearm and inadvertently shot one of their own. The deceased suspect was found by deputies upon arrival, and the incident is under investigation by homicide detectives.
