Despite a noticeable increase in activity among third-party Google search ranking volatility tools over the weekend, the SEO community appears surprisingly unfazed. Typically, such fluctuations in ranking tools are accompanied by heightened discussion within forums such as WebmasterWorld and Black Hat World, but this time there is minimal concern or chatter about ranking disturbances. It's worth noting the absence of recent confirmed Google updates in 2025, further contributing to the perplexity of the current situation.
Normally, when I see a lot of chatter within the SEO community, I also see the third-party Google search ranking volatility tools heat up. Now I am seeing the tools heat up in a very big way over the weekend but the SEO chatter within the SEO community being super calm - which is super unusual.
But the tools are heated, here is what they show: Advanced Web Rankings, Accuranker, SimilarWeb, Cognitive SEO, and Data For SEO. Wiredboard's Aggregator of Tools shows the aggregate of the tools above and plots them on one chart.
