"Amazon released its study Monday, with it finding 74 percent of 300 participating marketing directors from small- and medium-sized businesses said they're already using AI tools in advertising, or are testing them for that purpose. Fully 87 percent of respondents said they believe their use of the apps in producing ads will "help support future growth by creating more time for strategic business priorities." How much time? On average participants expected using the tech for marketing will save them 5.6 hours per week - or a total of 30 working days per year that they can dedicate to other priorities."
"There were several ways respondents said they've experienced or foresee AI further reducing the time required to conceive and run ads. In addition to apps automating and speeding the process of creating advertisements, 41 percent of survey participants said they also expect AI to produce quicker analysis of data feedback on those campaigns."
"Ludovic de Valon, director of small- and medium-sized business marketing and product marketing for Amazon Ads, said that optimism about AI tools was based on them "democratizing" advertising, and giving entrepreneurs access to assets only big companies could previously afford."
Seventy-four percent of 300 surveyed marketing directors at small- and medium-sized businesses reported using or testing AI tools for advertising. Eighty-seven percent expect AI-generated ads to support future growth by freeing time for strategic priorities, with average expected savings of 5.6 hours per week (about 30 working days per year). Respondents cited AI for automating ad creation, faster campaign data analysis (41%), improved reporting, optimization, and more effective media planning. Nearly 30% expect overall ad performance improvements. Optimism stems from AI democratizing advertising and giving entrepreneurs access to assets previously affordable only to large companies.
