Fedi Semaan grew up in Prospect, Adelaide, raised in a Lebanese-Australian family that combined traditional calligraphy with contemporary city design. He excelled in Visual Arts, Design & Technology, and Information Technology at Adelaide High School, developing both creative and technical skills. Semaan studied Visual Communication at the University of South Australia, graduated with distinction, and spent a semester in Lyon, France, which deepened his appreciation for typography and design history. He began work at a boutique Adelaide agency on branding and packaging, cofounded a freelance collective to broaden projects, and progressed into senior designer and art director roles.
