Rightwing media is reporting that the Trump administration is considering printing a $250 bill with Donald Trump's face on it. This is the second plan from the White House to put Trump on currency, even though only dead people are traditionally memorialized on money in the U.S. Trump is still alive. U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach told the rightwing Daily Caller that he wants Trump on a $250 bill because the U.S.'s 250th anniversary is this year.
"The question was do we focus only on what happened in 1776 and the years around that or do we also talk about everything that has happened since then," said Lawrence Brown, a retired New York City doctor who served on the committee from 2019 to 2024. "'To me, the latter is just as important if not more important because it gives us answers to the questions of how did we maintain that Constitution? How did we maintain our independence?'"

Soarin' Around the World at Disney California Adventure will in 2026 be converted to Soarin' Across America, a move timed to the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. The makeover is planned for next summer at both California Adventure in Anaheim and in Florida at Walt Disney World's Epcot.
On Wednesday, President Trump showed off plans for a major new monument to be potentially added to Washington, D.C.: a grand, classically styled arch topped with eagles and a gilded, winged statue that suggests Victory. A watercolor rendition of the proposed arch posted online last month by architect Nicolas Leo Charbonneau of Harrison Design, and reposted by the president on his Truth Social account, shows a monument that bears strong aesthetic similarities to Paris' Arc de Triomphe and the Soldiers and Sailors' Memorial Arch in Brooklyn. (Wags have already dubbed the proposed monument from the former real estate developer the "Arc de Trump.")
