Chayakada at 117 Bernal Road, Suite 80, offers a unique tea experience where chai is brewed from scratch, tailored to individual preferences. Owner Aleena Thomas, from Kerala, brings traditional chayakada concepts to life in the U.S. The café features a diverse menu of homestyle meals and snacks, all made in-house by a dedicated team. The space includes a kids library and multipurpose areas to promote community connection.

"Chai time has always been sacred in our home - an invitation to slow down, and connect," says Sunny, whose chai was one of Oprah's Favorite Things in 2021.

While Nespresso doesn't stock branded chai capsules, you can safely use compatible pods from other sources, such as Amazon, saving you heaps of time. For example, OzPod chai tea capsules come in packs of 15 and can be slotted into a Nespresso machine in the same way as a regular coffee pod. All you need to do is add a dash of milk to your chai to create a creamy, fragrant beverage once your machine has worked its magic.
