The cafe, run by Laura McEvoy and Stephanie Myerscough, showcases their backgrounds in hospitality, with McEvoy's experience from her granny's B&B influencing their offerings.
"All of our projects are heavily influenced by precedent and reference; from both art and architecture... The Mandarin was influenced by the Hopewell Culture Earthworks from 100 BC and an Ellsworth Kelly painting from 1963."
