Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani recently revealed his go-to In-N-Out order. Ohtani shared with Access Hollywood that he orders protein style during the offseason and animal style during the season. "In the offseason, I always get the protein style. During the season, I usually order animal style," Ohtani said. The 31-year-old has been in California for his entire career, spending his first six seasons in Anaheim with the Angels and the last two in Los Angeles with the Dodgers.

Social media is buzzing with reports that the Southern California chain has stopped numbering its orders 67 because the term "six-seven" is meaningful to youthful social media users. The reasons aren't clear, according to Dictionary.com, which declared "6-7" the word of the year in October. The website calls it an example of brainrot slang, meaning it stems for low quality digital media content. Six-seven has no fixed meaning and is a bit of an inside joke to its users, according to news reports. But some sources trace its origins to a 2024 song by rapper Skrilla called "Doot Doot (6-7)" and its use in TikTok videos by 6-foot-7 basketball player LaMelo Ball.

San Jose could soon gain another outpost of the beloved In-N-Out Burger chain as the company explores a location at 2641 McKee Road. The burger spot has submitted a preliminary review to the city, seeking feedback on its concept before moving to formal permits. This potential addition builds on In-N-Out's existing presence in the area, offering more opportunities for locals to enjoy fresh burgers and fries.

In-N-Out offers three shake flavors: Chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. All of them are classics on their own but, when Tasting Table ranked 13 fast food milkshakes from worst to best, we did lament the lack of choices compared to places like Shake Shack, which offers all of those same flavors plus six more at the time of writing (though it should be noted that three are limited edition).
