The 25-year-old Italian citizen of Senegalese descent sold his company, Step Distinctive Limited, which manages his global brand and commercial activities, to Rich Sparkle. According to PRNewsire, Rich Sparkle is a Hong Kong-based US-listed company. The acquisition signals a shift from one-off brand deals to a structured, exclusive, full-chain, platform-style commercialisation system.

The Senegalese-born TikToker has inked a $900 million acquisition and strategic partnership deal with Rich Sparkle Holdings. As the content creator enters the deal with the U.S.-based company, Rich Sparkle will gain exclusive commercial rights to Lame's expansive brand, as reported by Business Insider Africa. Lame already boasts an over 160 million following on TikTok alone. In the innovative partnership, Lame sold part of his company, Step Distinctive Limited, to the firm.

The transaction involves the partial sale of his company, Step Distinctive Limited, to Rich Sparkle Holdings, a United States-listed firm that disclosed the acquisition alongside a broader strategic partnership focused on scaling Lame's commercial operations worldwide. Under the agreement, Rich Sparkle, through its operating partners, will hold exclusive rights to Khaby Lame's global commercial activities for an initial period of 36 months.
