Mago month-long event series showcases diversity of Latin American cuisines

The series runs from Sept. 14 - Oct. 11 and will feature cultural programming, community partnerships and various chef collaborations to highlight the diversity of Latin American culture through food. Liberman, a Bay Area native, created this series to celebrate his heritage as a Colombian-American, and to showcase the flavors, traditions and culinary innovations of Latin-American chefs. Latin American Heritage Month in the United States runs from mid-September to mid-October, coinciding with Mexican Independence (Sept. 16)
