Although I thought it wasn't possible, this winter my love of knitwear hit new heights. The hardest working item in my wardrobe was a black, oversized fine wool T-shirt. I wore it over my workout gear, with blazers to meetings and layered beneath a thick cable knit when writing at home. I took to sleeping in a cashmere-silk blended singlet if that sounds lush, it really is.
Buying the cheapest "Pro" version of Apple's new iPhone lineup just got $100 more expensive. The brand new iPhone 17 Pro starts at $1,099. That's a $100 increase from the starter iPhone 16 Pro model, which launched at $999 with 128 GB of storage. Unlike its predecessor, though, the entry-level iPhone 17 Pro has 256 GB - more storage than last year's cheapest iPhone 16 Pro.
It's a very broad question. But, to start, I think it's important to point out that this is in some respects an entirely new form of business logic and a new form of computing. And so, the first question becomes, if agentic systems are reasoning models coupled with agents that perform tasks by leveraging reasoning models, as well as different tools that have been allocated to them to help them accomplish their tasks ... these models need to run on very high-performance machinery.
