The toolset, revealed at Google I/O 2024, is still in the testing stages but uses AI to suss out fraudsters in the middle of a conversation.
The AI will be constantly on the hunt for conversation patterns commonly associated with scams, providing real-time alerts when detected.
The AI would flag uncommon bank requests for personal information, like PINs and passwords, issuing alerts to users to keep their information private.
Google also introduced Gemini chatbot to Android devices and onboard AI for enhanced features like contextual awareness within apps.
