Let's jump straight into the most consequential change Embark is looking to make for launch: The flying Arc drones are too damn perceptive. While many people, including myself, felt that dealing with our robot overlords above Speranza was appropriately challenging, those damn drones were quick to find and harass enemy players. Embark is changing that. In the post the studio said:
"It was very coincidental that they had their test around the time we did. To my knowledge, I don't think any of us knew that was going to happen," he said. "It was a very great A/B test for us, because obviously they made decisions that we didn't, and vice versa. So we could kind of compare and contrast how some of those things shook out."
In particular, the developers are trying to solve one of the biggest problems with mandatory wipes: It's really unfair to those who only have limited windows of opportunity to play the game. It sucks when you log a few hours in one week, get tied up with life stuff for the remainder of a month, then come back to find out even the meager earnings you scored during that first week are now gone due to the wipe.

What is surprising, however, is that players were reporting earlier that 's in-game text chat was censoring the name of another shooter launching soon. No, it's not direct competitor Battlefield 6 . It's Arc Raiders , the upcoming extraction shooter from Embark Studios.
Scrappy, the pet rooster, has captivated players in Arc Raiders Tech Test 2 with its item-gathering abilities, enhancing engagement and player investment.
