Hundreds of EE customers reported service issues over the last 24 hours, struggling to make or receive calls, adding to earlier disruptions this week.

A spokesperson for BT stated, "We're currently addressing an issue impacting our services. We're working urgently to fix this issue and will provide a further update as soon as possible."

Not content with a corporate blueprint to cut up to 55,000 employees by 2030, UK telecoms giant BT now says even more staff could be replaced with AI.

Customers in these exchanges not yet able to get Ultrafast Full Fibre at their premises won't be impacted and can stay on their existing copper-based service until Full Fibre does become available.
