Everbound uses an 18-card construct to fill out the crew of a pirate ship. You start with your Captain and a twinkle in yer eye. And presumably a ship. Yarrrr. You'll take one of two actions per turn. Draw: Take a card from the Dock. Recruit: Play a card from your hand by paying its icon cost.
February has already seen the arrival of a preview build of RTS Menace and the arrival of Diablo II: Resurrected and High on Life 2 to Game Pass, which is hard to sniff at (until you remember that Microsoft increased the price of the subscription from $20 to $30 a month last year). But the second half of the month is much more busy, starting today with the addition of Aerial_Knight's DropShot, and Ubisoft's surprisingly great Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Square has decided to muddy things up further by giving us Dragon Quest VII Reimagined before the expected Dragon Quest IV HD-2D Remake. What's more, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined utilizes bright, cartoony 3D character models instead of the HD-2D pixel art style of the earlier remakes. Thankfully, the models animate well, and they look particularly cool in battle. Ooooh, let me say that again: Dragon Quest fans are "spoiled for choice these days." Shiver Reimagine Dragons
