Workers at the CN Tower have ratified a new three-year collective agreement, ending a nearly two-week-long lockout. The agreement includes wage increases and enhanced benefits.

To hold telework solely responsible for such issues is inappropriate. Given the need for supervisors to assess the portability of an individual employee's work, I am not convinced there should be an arbitrary six-day cap.

On the brink of losing their health care coverage, nurses at Providence Health in Oregon approved contract terms negotiated by their union, halting the state's largest health care strike.

"It is the nurses who are advocating for what patients need - the correct number of nurses, properly trained, with the right equipment," said Anne Goldman, head of the Federation of Nurses/UFT.
