GOODLIFE Nutrition is based in Lincoln, Nebraska, the home of Gravel Worlds, and is completely sponsoring the massive $150,000 prize purse. While it is already one of the marquee events on the gravel circuit, the $150,000 payout makes Gravel Worlds the largest single-day prize purse in gravel racing. This is a major investment from the sports nutrition brand GOODLIFE Nutrition and a milestone for the event and, arguably, for the sport of gravel racing itself.

A massive crash on the last jump on the Red Bull Hardline Tasmania track has left Mille Johnset of Nukeproof Axess Racing with a broken collarbone and concussion. The 3rd person view of the crash is shown in this clip posted by Ed Masters. In the clip, you can see a touch of headwind catching the windsock, which likely contributed to Johnset coming up a bit short.
I had trained for a full year to complete a self-supported bicycle tour from San Diego to Las Cruces, New Mexico. Strava is using "Machine Learning" (ML) models to help clean up logged riding errors, intentional or not. James, an engineer at Strava, explained in the post that the recent crackdowns were threefold. First, they introduced a new ML model, specifically aimed at catching e-bikes. This "Enhanced E-Bike Detection" flags and removes activities logged as a normal ride, but that were clearly recorded with electric assist.
Former World Tour pro turned KOM hunter, YouTube, and social media star, Phil Gaimon, just reclaimed the KOM on Mauna Kea. On the Big Island of Hawaii, the Mauna Kea climb is considered one of the toughest road climbs in the world, ascending 13,762 vertical feet over 55.59 miles from sea level to the observatories on the summit. Gaimon, who has been posting updates from Hawaii for the past week or so, announced the success of his KOM attempt yesterday, on his 40th Birthday.
