A lot of these bot-less tools don't indicate who said what in their captured transcript. Many people face problems with misattribution when they ask their meeting note-taker a question about what they might have said in a particular meeting a few months ago.
The idea of the '3x4 kitchen rule' has some merit in terms of promoting balance and functionality, but I would not treat it as a hard rule. Kitchens should be designed based on how the client lives, cooks, and entertains rather than following a fixed formula.
When I started working at Square, Jack Dorsey was running the company off of an iPad. And so, I immediately converted in September of 2010, and haven't looked back. Everything I do in my life is either done from my phone, my watch, or my iPad.
